About The Organized Library
Judith Tapiero, President of the Organized Library, has spent over twenty years in the field of library and information services. She has worked as an information professional and library consultant in the business sector and has built extensive library collections. Since 1988 when she started her firm, she has been a consultant to industry, the corporate world and non-profit organizations on the development and organization of their libraries and information centers.
Ms. Tapiero received her MLS degree (Masters of Library Science) from Rutgers University and developed her expertise on the science and art of building library resources
- Director of Research for a major New York financial consulting firm
- Director of Consulting Services for a New Jersey economic research firm
- Collections Archivist at the National Archives in Jerusalem
Tapiero applies finely tuned problem assessment skills and common sense in delivering practical solutions to an organization's knowledge requirements and the accompanying technologies necessary for the storage, retrieval and dissemination of this information.
Her experience provides her with a generalist's perspective that enables her to understand which cost-effective tools and interdisciplinary business resources should be applied in each engagement.
In addition to her library consultant work, Ms. Tapiero is a member of the Special Libraries Association and the National Association of Women Business Owners. She has been profiled in several local newspapers and regularly contributes articles and "letters to the editor" on topics of interest to her profession.
